1.      History of the Institution :

 Rajasthan which is geographically the largest state of India still backward after the passage of more than half century period of independence. The state is still lagged behind in the fundamental requirements for imparting education to the people. Still today, it has not been provided adequate facilities up to mark of satisfaction. The condition of women-education in the state is worse. Shri Agrasen Shiksha Prasar Samiti (Registered society under society Act, 1860 No. 55/SWM/1996-97) Hindaun City started women teacher’s training college – “Shri Agrasen Mahila Shikshak Prashikshan Sansthan, in 2006” in keeping view the proliferation of women teacher education in the field of professional studies. The college is situated in the Eastern part of Rajasthan which is much backward in all the walks of life. The college began its infancy with 100 students at B.Ed. level and since then it has been ceaselessly mounting over the path of progress in its pupil teacher strength as well as in the building – infrastructure. It has acquired affiliation for conducting B.Ed. Classes from 2006-07 by university of kota, KOTA and get intake of one unit from 2008-09 by NCTE, NRC, Jaipur. The college is marching successfully towards the completion of its tenth year. In all these years it has acquired prestige and status in the academic as well as extra curricular activities in the whole Aravali belt covering the area of eastern Rajasthan. It has now become one of the best women T.T. colleges of kota university, KOTA.

 

2.   Vision Statement :

 We look ahead for more challenges and excitement in this never ending journey towards all-round proliferation of women-education in this tribal and educationally backward part of Rajasthan.

 

3. Mission and Objectives :

• The institution initiates funds for assistance to the poor and needy pupil teachers.
• Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC/PH/SBC and others funded by the State Government of Rajasthan.
• Different competitions are held by different units under the supervision of the committee of the college to explore the talents as well as argument skill of the pupil teachers.
• The college provides almost 100% pass percentage.
• Certain departments of the college provide participative teaching learning and completion of subject course.
• Various cultural activities are held at different occasions in order to explore and encourage pupil teacher’s hidden talent.
• Career guidance and counseling cell is working in the college.
• The college publishes its updated prospectus every year.
• INTRODUCTION to FARE WELL ceremonies are held every year.
• The college participate intercollegiate competitions of such as debate and easy writing, dance and music, certain cultural activities and games and sports.
• Scholarship are made available to the pupil teacher’s as per State Government of Rajasthan rules.
• Management committee helps several economically backward pupil teacher’s by providing Exam/Hostel fee concession etc.
• Principal and faculty encourages the pupil teacher’s to take up M.Ed. course of continuing their education and related competitions.
• Pupil teachers are encouraged to write articles in educational magazine.
• The college provides sports complex, computer laboratory, canteen, communication and Xerox facilities to supplement the needs of pupil teachers.
